Requirements: Prefer a technical degree, with 6 years or more experience in production planning, operations and management. Knowledge of extractions, distillations and spray drying a must. REGULATORY AFFAIRS, QUALITY & TECHNICAL SERVICES POSITIONS
Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Requirements: Prefers a technical degree with 5 or more years regulatory/labeling experience ideally with a food ingredients processor. Will work with customers regulatory departments both in US and internationally, developing correct label specifications for various ingredients and finished food/beverage products. Should be promotable to department manager in 4-5 years due to upcoming retirement. Company is a well known, high quality flavor supplier.

Regulatory Affairs Technologist
Requirements: Prefer a technical degree with 3-7 years previous regulatory affairs experience. Will be responsible for writing and reviewing specifications for all ingredients and finished formulations in this mid-sized food ingredients processor. Will review customer specifications and determine compliance. Will interpret, apply and relay regulatory information to customers and internally as required. Reports to Technical Director of this mid-sized food ingredients processor.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT POSITIONS:
Research Scientist-Polysaccharides
Requirements: Prefer an MS or Ph.D in Food Science, Food Chemistry or related and at least 2 years food R&D/Applications experience related to development and applications of polysaccharides in food, beverage, personal care and industrial systems. Will plan, conduct and report analytical and chemical research. Will develop new test methods, perform routine lab testing and work with a team to conceive and develop new ideas and methods for production of new products. Will carry out characterization and performance evaluations of new materials employing state of the art methods in polymer, physical and analytical chemistry. Hands-on experience with Dionex, HPLC, GC-MS, FT-IR required. Expertise in food and/or industrial application formulation in addition to physical chemistry of biopolymers a plus. Must be able to define and execute development projects and communicate across job functions and departments. Position has been created due to growth in this global, US based processor.

Research Chef
Requirements: Prefer a BS Food Science plus a culinary degree with 5 or more years experience in a food ingredients or finished foods processor. Understanding of flavor use in prototype development a plus. Will work with internal sales, R&D and external customers on new product development or improvement for this mid-sized, high quality ingredients processor. Promotability a plus since Manager is retiring in a few years.

Beverage Scientist
Requirements: Prefer 4-15 years experience in the beverage industry. Working with nutritional beverages, high potency sweetners, and flavors a plus. Will develop food application for existing ingredient products and create innovative formulations and demonstrate the advantages, superiority, and added value of the Company's products. Complete research using Company's test kitchen and laboratory facilities on new applications for ingredient products, existing and new. Identify formulation challenges, solve problems and develop new inoovations. Advise management on the merits of proposed food technology research by outside parties. Provide collaboration and support to production/manufacturing for new and existing products.
